ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widespread across India and Southeast Asia. The habitat
includes Bhutan, Assam, Khasi (Khasia) Hill region of northeastern India,
Burma, northern Thailand, and China as far east as Taiwan. Plants usually
grow on lightly shaded branches of broad-leaved trees at 3300-5900 ft.
(1000-1800 m).
