ORIGIN/HABITAT: Eastern New Guinea to Bougainville Island, including the
islands of New Ireland and New Britain. In New Guinea, plants grow on
trees in mountain rainforests or mistforests or on the ground on steep,
wet, mossy slopes at 2600-3950 ft. (800-1200 m).
