Comments: This is a large reed-stem Epidendrum with canes up to 4 feet tall. Blooms sporadically through the year and a large plant is usually in bloom or bud constantly. The canes rebloom numerous times / years on short inflorescences that originate at the top of the cane. Blooms look and feel like plastic and are unbelievably vivid in color.
Donor's culture notes: Temperature range Warm 90-70°F, cooler season Cool-Intermediate 75-58°F. Bright light. Watered consistently year-round. No special treatment given to this plant. Potted in LECA (Hydroton).
Unique ID: MC5878
(this will not change even if any part of the name should change)
