This may be the largest of the Oerstedellas. 5 foot tall erect canes bear a panicle of about 70 half inch bright white flowers, as many as 30 open at once. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range Cool-Intermediate 75-58°F, in colder season Cool-Cold 64-44°F. Grown under lights (actually beside lights) in an air-conditioned basement. Watered with collected rainwater and regular variety of half a dozen fertilizers. Potted in 3:1:1:1:1 Bark:charcoal:sphagnum:perlite:Aliflor. Loose, very well drained with high proportion of inorganics. Watered sparingly but never gets dry in the large 12 inch pot. |
