Comments: |
The flowers are quite waxy and will hold for quite awhile. Large plant. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range I (60-83°F). Phalaenopsis venosa likes moderate to warm conditions, with moderate moisture. The parent plant is mounted on cork with some sphagnum covering the roots and the mount (purchased from Andy's Orchids) and does dry occasionally while growing under lights. My conditions are not extreme, as the plant is in my apartment, so another plant in a greenhouse condition may not tolerate as much drying as this plant sees. Also, it is quite a large adult plant and may be more tolerant of varying conditions than a smaller or seedling plant. |
