Comments: |
This small Prosthechea-type of Encyclia originates in Mexico where it grows from 300-1500 meters as an epiphyte in oak forests, although sometimes found as a lithophyte as well. This particular plant blooms in the late spring with a short inflorescence of 10 flowers which, to me at least, have the scent of licorice. |
