This species is from southern Florida, the plant was acquired from a local grower that has grown it from seed. I have the plant mounted on a wood branch. It grows in semi-open glades in the southern portion of Everglades National Park. Commonly known as the "dollar orchid" due to its flattened pseudobulbs. Medium-sized plant. |
