Comments: The plant is a Cymbidium species growing in montane forest at 1200 meters altitude in Central Sulawesi. The species is most likely to be Cymbidium bicolor ssp. pubescens. The plant was growing about 3 meters above the ground on the side of a narrow tree trunk. It had 4-5 very narrow erect stiff leaves per pseudobulb. The inflorescence, which had 6 ripe capsules but no flowers, was arching and 30 cm long. Medium-sized plant.
