This species is from Mexico and is reported to grow cool/intermediate in bright light. It has an interesting growth habit with each new pseudobulb arising above the last with only the older pseudobulbs having roots attached to the mount. In fact the new pseudobulbs don't seem to send out roots at all. Although the flowers aren't flashy, they are quite elegant and the plant itself is interesting to look at. It looks to me like it would only be happy on a mount. Medium-sized plant. |
