Miniature. In the photo the violet-colored lip isn't an incorrect color, it actually is that bright a pinkish-purple. The flowers are supposed to be olive, with slight raspberry flushes along the midribs. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range I (60-83°F). This plant must be mounted, as much of the photosynthesis happens in the roots. I have seen pictures of this plant growing on a limestone rock, completely exposed. If not dried out too much, it will retain it's leaves, which at best are about 1.25" in diameter. In nature, it is often totally without leaves; It's a very tough plant. |
