Comments: |
Flowers are very pink for the species, which is usually red-orange; they are very similar to those of S. wittigiana. Flowers are also a bit on the large side for this species. Robust grower. Miniature. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range CI (58-75°F). Prefers to grow mounted on cork (with only a small patch of moss) in moderate to high light. Needs high humidity and coolish temperatures to thrive. Does NOT like to be watered heavily like other species in this genus. Comes from semiarid regions of interior Brazil at high elevations. |
