Comments: This species from Sulawesi in Indonesia is sight for sore eyes. It is a large plant with leaves <120 cm long and a robust 60-90 cm tall inflorescence with a 15 cm raceme of bright golden-yellow flowers. This is Calanthe speciosa (Bl.) Lindl., NOT to be confused with the Calanthe speciosa that is a synonym of Phaius tankervilleae.
