Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range Intermediate 83-60°F, cooler season Cool 70-52°F. Kept moist while growing, drier when not in growth.
Comments: Parent plant: Mounted in a 12 inch frame. Has 100+ growths. Tree fern bark and sphagnum moss.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. Plants were first collected near Porto Alegre in
Rio Grande do Sul, but it is now known to occur near the coast in the
states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Espírito
Santo. Plants have been found near Rio de Janeiro at about 1300 ft. (400
m).
