Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range Warm-Intermediate 87-64°F, cooler season Cold 58-38°F. Cultural requirements are similar to those of Pleione. Lots of water and fertilizer in the summer, followed by a cold (around 36-45°F night/day in winter), dry dormancy after leaves drop in the fall. Repot into fresh medium in the winter. Gradually resume watering when new growths appear in the spring. Potted in a mix of medium bark and perlite, with a few strands of New Zealand sphagnum moss.
Comments: Though spontaneous, the pollination is likely a selfing because there was only one plant, and one flower.
Parent plant: From the Eastern Himalayas, from 1950 to 3650 meters. Pseudobulbs are very small (1 cm) even when they're blooming size. Blooms in summer. Miniature.
