Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 456 plants (based on flask surveys done 03/27/2018 through 10/25/2019)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 40 - 80 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 06/28/2018 through 03/10/2020)
From one most recently surveyed flask 50 - 80 mm (03/10/2020)

The origin/habitat information below is supplied courtesy of Charles and Margaret Baker

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Cuba to Hispaniola. In Cuba, collections have been reported in Camaüey Province, and there have been collections from several locations in Oriente Province. Habitat elevation was not given for these collections, however, so the following climate table and cultural suggestions are based on an estimated elevation which was obtained by checking the elevation of reported collection areas take from topographical maps. These generally indicated relatively low elevations, but a couple of the sites appear to have elevations to about 3300 ft. (1000 m). In any event, the resulting climate table and cultural suggestions should be used rather cautiously until an actual elevation is reported.
