The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippines. This epiphytic orchid, which has a rather limited distribution, is found in mossy cloudforests in the mountains of the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, and Rizal on Luzon Island. It grow on moss-covered branches of trees at about 7550 ft. (2300 m), with collections reported at elevations down to about 3950 ft. (1200 m).
