Make a notification request now. When this is harvested, and later germinates, we'll let you know, and you can reserve a flask at that time if you like. Your notification request serves as a place-holder in line for flasks later, so it's best if you place the notification request as early as possible. If you wait, you'll be further down in line for flasks. |

The origin/habitat information below is supplied courtesy of Charles and Margaret Baker
The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Plants in Laos have been
reported from near Capra, Bang Muc, and Nam Muong Noi. In Vietnam, This
small, terrestrial orchid has been found at locations from near Dalat in
the south to the Red River Delta and near Cao Bang in the north. The
plants, which are rare in the Cao Bang area, grow in open, secondary
grasslands. Habitat elevation was not given, but the location on the Red
River Delta indicates an elevation that is not very high. The following
climate table and cultural suggestions are estimated based on this
assumption and should, therefore, be used rather cautiously until the
actual elevation is known. Hawkes (1965) reported that this orchid is
widely naturalized in central and southern Florida, having been introduced
into the area as an adventive with Centipede Grass (Eremochloa
aphiuroides) from China.
