A plant in the group ('MC5618')

Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range Warm 90-70°F, cooler season Cold-Frigid 52-32°F. They grow in full sun alongside Sarracenia, Calopogon, and Pogonia, in constructed peat bog bed, with peat, sand, and of course water.

Comments: One plant, 'MC5618', was hand pollinated over a couple of weeks. The pollination source was several other ciliaris specimens growing in the same bog bed underneath 1/2 inch bird mesh, which keeps out most natural pollinators.

Parent plant: A group of Platanthera ciliaris in Joe Coates' bog.
