The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Australia. This orchid is native to northeastern
Queensland where it is found between Cairns and Townsville. Plants may be
found in the lowland rainforests but are most common at higher elevations
in the ranges and tablelands. They grow on rainforest trees near streams
and on bottlebrushes in the vegetation along watercourses.
