Pod Parent Capsules at 6 months

Comments: The capsules are spontaneous, but undoubtedly a selfing since there are no pollinators in its Wardian case.

Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 696 plants (based on flask surveys done 06/30/2010 through 06/13/2013)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 0.2 - 45 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 04/07/2010 through 07/23/2012)
From one most recently surveyed flask 10 mm (07/23/2012)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Australia. This orchid is native to northeastern Queensland where it is found between Cairns and Townsville. Plants may be found in the lowland rainforests but are most common at higher elevations in the ranges and tablelands. They grow on rainforest trees near streams and on bottlebrushes in the vegetation along watercourses.
