The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northeast India and Myanmar (Burma). Plants are found in Sikkim, Darjeeling, the Khasia Hills, and Bhutan where they grow in the tropical and subtropical zones. Plants have been collected in Sikkim at 2150 ft. (660 m). In Myanmar, plants were found in the area around Tenasserim.
