ORIGIN/HABITAT: Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama. This rare epiphytic orchid
is found in lowland rainforest on the Caribbean-facing watershed usually
at 350-1000 ft. (100-300 m), but plants from 3300 ft. (1000 m) have been
reported.
