ORIGIN/HABITAT: Bolivia. The type specimen for this epiphytic orchid was
discovered on the eastern slopes of the Andes in the department of
Cochabamba near Chapare in wet montane forest at 6150 ft. (1880 m). Plants
have also been found in the same area at 6400 ft. (1950 m).
