Pod Parent Flower

Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). A moisture-retentive mix is a must. I've grown them in sphagnum or a Paph mix, both seem to work well. Cattleya to Phal light suits them just fine.

Comments: Parent plant: Medium-sized plant. The plant flowers sporadically all year with white flowers with a bluish purple veining on the lip. Very easy to grow. Leaves are basal and inflorescence grow from the stem up through the basal leaves. It usually produces one flower at a time. But as the plant grows older with more plants you get a nice basal bouquet with a nice fragrance.

Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 28 plants (based on flask surveys done 05/10/2006 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 25 - 65 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 03/02/2007 )
From one most recently surveyed flask 25 - 65 mm (03/02/2007)
