ORIGIN/HABITAT: Thailand and Vietnam. In Thailand, this orchid is found in the southwestern mainland near Siswat, Kanburi. In Vietnam, plants have been found near Djiring, which is just southwest of Dalat. Habitat elevation was not given, but based on topographical maps of the reported habitat locations, we have estimated the elevation as 1950 ft. (600 m). The resulting climate table and cultural suggestions should be used rather cautiously, however.
