Flasks of
Spiranthes gracilis ("Rte. 322" group) -spontaneous

Number: TN4809
Name: Spiranthes gracilis ("Rte. 322" group) -spontaneous
Type: spontaneous    (What's that?)
Seed Donor: Joan King  (Email: jsking1@lycos.com)

No Photos Available

Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: They grow in full sun in poor, damp soil. These were in a sandstone area called Rte. 322.

Comments: Parent plant: This is the orchid known as "slender ladies' tresses". They can get up to two feet tall, but are usually shorter. The seed capsules are tiny! It is one of the most graceful orchids I have seen.
