ORIGIN/HABITAT: Found in Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador. In Venezuela,
plants grow about 37 mi. (60 km) north of Tumeremo in the northeastern
part of the country. They inhabit damp forests near 1950 ft. (600 m). In
Ecuador, plants are found on both sides of the Andes, where they grow
epiphytically in mountain cloudforests at 1150-3300 ft. (350-1000 m.)
