Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plants: Temperature range W (70-90°F). Currently growing on thick slabs of tree fern and get watered daily with my other Vandaceous orchids.
Comments: Both parents were purchased from the same vendor at the same time so they may in fact be sibs but they appear to have been collected rather than seed grown so who knows.
Pod parent plant: Leaves are terete and pendant about 2 feet long and 4 or 5 per plant. Only produced a single cluster of flowers from the center of the growing point. Medium-sized plant.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Sabah (North Borneo). Originally found at about 1500 ft.
(460 m) near Pamol, this orchid usually occurs at 1650–3300 ft. (500–1000
m). It is now known to occur over an extremely limited range in hill
forests on Mt. Kinabalu as well as along the Labuk River and its
tributaries in northeastern Sabah.
