Comments: Parent plant: This species is very fragrant. I grow indoors under lights, and the scent fills my whole house.

Yield Estimate: 300 plants (based on flask surveys done 11/19/2003 )

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru. Plants are found mostly in the cooler regions of the Brazilian States of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, and Minas Gerais. Plants generally grow on the surfaces of the ground on grassy hillsides. They have been reported at elevations of about 4600 ft. (1400 m). Plants are also reported from Bolivia and Peru, but details of habitat location and elevation were not given.
