The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Peru. Plants have been found in the Department of Huanuco between Tingo Maria and Opuculpa at 3600 ft. (1100 m). This orchid has also been reported from Ecuador, but no details about habitat location and elevation were given.
