Comments: Pod parent plant: A cultivar of rather average form, but with a strong, pleasant vanilla/white chocolate scent. Medium-sized plant.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and
Costa Rica. In Mexico, plants are found in the states of Chiapas, Nayarit,
Oaxaca, and Veracruz, where they grow as epiphytes in humid forests at
elevations below 5600 ft. (1700 m). In Guatemala, plants have been found
in the vicinity of Guatemala City and at several locations in the
Departments of Quiché and Sacatepéquez. They are reported to be common on
the Pacific coast at lower elevations.
