Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). This plant should be mounted. Cork works well as the fat roots cling tightly.
 
Comments: Parent plant: Barkeria scandens is synonymous with Barkeria cyclotella. It is indigenous to Mexico in the states of Guanajuato, Guerrero, México, Michoacán, Oaxaca at 1300-1900m. It is found growing on rocks or trees. This is a miniature orchid with a rambling habit. New growths arise from the tops of the previous growth.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico. Plants are found on the Pacific slopes in the States of Michoacan, Guerrero and Oaxaca, where they grow on rocks, trees, and small shrubs at 3300-6550 ft. (1000-2000 m).
