Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). This plant is grown in the house in a SW window that is shaded in the morning and late afternoon.
Comments: Parent plant: A young plant, the photo is of its first blooming on 2 inflorescences with 50-60 blooms on each.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widespread from the Philippines through Borneo, Sulawesi
(formerly Celebes), the Moluccas, New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.
Plants grow on trees, often near the sea in coastal forests, but they are
also found in more inland, lowland forests. Plants are usually reported
from near sea level, but they occur at elevations to about 1650 ft. (500
m).
