Culture Notes from Donor: Eria ornata is an epiphytic species that is too big to be successfully confined to a pot and should be attached to a large mount. It will require bright light (or full sun), excellent ventilation and regular feeding. Once established it will tolerate dry periods of up to several weeks in length.
Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Comments: Eria ornata has small dull flowers and is usually grown because of the unusual bright red bracts on the inflorescence.
Parent plant: An extremely large, robust specimen.
