Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)

Comments: Parent plant: A very nice plant of the Amami Island variety of this Japanese species, this "samurai orchid" is sweetly fragrant. The well-spaced flowers arch gracefully out from the inflorescence on long peduncles and bear proportionately long nectary spurs. All flower segments concolor, clean white with golden pollinia visible through anther cap, overall arrangement of relatively flat flowers very pleasing. All-in-all, a wonderful species and a wonderful addition to any collection.
