ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widespread and often common, the natural habitat ranges from southern China to Australia, and from India to the Philippines. The plants grow both fully exposed and in shade, in trees, and on limestone or lava rocks, usually between 2600-5000 ft. (800-1500 m).
