ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador. This epiphytic or terrestrial orchid is found on
the eastern slopes of the Andes in Zamora-Chinchipe Province where it
grows in the Cordillera del Condor in very wet montane forest at 4900-5900
ft. (1500-1800 m)
