Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range C (52-70°F)
Comments: Parent plant arrived with a capsule. It was presumed to be a selfing or a sib-cross, but at least some of the offspring has leaves with markings instead of being solid green, so may be a hybrid. The grower who supplied the plant to the donor also has callosum, appletonianum, and purpuratum so any of these might be the pollen parent.
Parent plant: Medium-sized plant.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Burma. Plants are found in the region around Inle Lake at
3500-4000 ft. (1070-1220 m). Plants grow high up on dolomite cliff faces
where they are exposed to bright light but not to direct sun. These plants
are most often found in wetter locations, usually near streams, with their
roots embedded in mosses and water seepages.
