Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
150 plants (based on flask surveys done 03/01/2006 )
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 12 - 50 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 05/19/2006 through 08/08/2006)
From one most recently surveyed flask 12 - 40 mm (08/08/2006)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: New Guinea. Plants are found in eastern Papua New Guinea
and on Rossel Island as well as other islands off the eastern tip of New
Guinea. In the Milne Bay District, plants grow on large, rainforest
tree-trunks at 1000-2450 ft. (300-750 m). In Irian Jaya (western New
Guinea), plants have been reported from the Cyclops Mountains near
Jayapura, but habitat elevation was not given.
