Comments: Parent plant: Laelia harpophylla is included in the subgenus Parviflorae despite it's epiphytic growth habit. The section Parviflorae is normally referred to as rupicolous or rock-dwelling laelias.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. Plants are found in the states of Minas Gerais and
Espírito Santo. Laelia harpophylla grows on trees in somewhat shady and
moist forests at 1650–2950 ft. (500–900 m).
