ORIGIN/HABITAT: Colombia. Specific habitat information was not reported.
Escobar (1990) includes a photograph of this species and reports that it
grows at 3300-5900 ft. (1000-1800 m), but provided no specific location
information. The following climate table is based on an educated guess,
but temperatures should provide safe conditions for cultivated plants.
