The species is from lower elevation moist forests from Costa Rica south to Ecuador. It is a small plant in the tribe Maxillarieae, subtribe Oncidiinae and is most closely allied to Trichopilia. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Recommended culture is moderately bright light, intermediate to warm temperatures and year round moisture. Does not like to be dried out. My plant is grown in moss in a basket and is very floriferous. |
