Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range Cool-Intermediate 75-58°F, cooler season Cold 58-38°F. Cool dry rest outdoors in the fall until buds form in mid-to-late November, then into the cool greenhouse to bloom and overwinter. Potted in fir bark, large chunk perlite, sphagnum.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northern India and Thailand at 3936-11,152 ft. (1200-3400
m), and the hills around Kathmandu, Nepal, at 7000 ft. (2133 m). It grows
in colonies on rocky, roadside slopes and nearly vertical cliffs, where it
is usually found in moss- or humus-filled pockets in the rocks.
