ORIGIN/HABITAT: Central and eastern Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. Distribution is rather widespread, but plants are most common in Thailand where they grow at 1000-4250 ft. (300-1300 m) in cool, mist shrouded forests. They are usually humus epiphytes with their roots embedded in the moss, detritus, and leaf-mold on the forest floor.
