The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: New Caledonia. Plants grow on the southern half of the
island northeast of Conception near Mt. Mou at 650-2300 ft. (200-700 m).
They are frequently found near streams as high as 50 ft. (15 m) above the
ground on the trunks and branches of moss-covered trees in shady, humid
forests.
