Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Hot growing epiphyte, heat tolerant. The plant needs high air humidity, good air movement and semi-shade. Can tolerate full sun for short periods.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana (British Guiana), Surinam, Colombia Ecuador, and Brazil. In Mexico, collections have been made in the Gulf of Mexico lowlands in Oaxaca and near Minatitlan in the State of Vera Cruz.
