ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador,
Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana (British Guiana),
Surinam, Colombia Ecuador, and Brazil. In Mexico, collections have been
made in the Gulf of Mexico lowlands in Oaxaca and near Minatitlan in the
State of Vera Cruz.
