Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range CI (58-75°F). It is grown outdoors under 55% shade on the Pacific coast at Santa Barbara where relative humidity is generally ~60%, the temperature ranges from a low 33°F for brief periods during the winter, and summer highs in the mid 80s to low 90s, but these extremes are rare. Days are generally 62 to 72°F.; night lows 50 to 60°F due to the ocean's moderating influence.
Comments: This species is attractive for it's easy culture requirements, lovely icy-white flowers, and pleasant fragrance.
Parent plant: Oerstedella tetraceros 'Dighera' is a lovely, dainty, but hardy species with delightful fragrance and a blue(ish) splash on the labellum. Miniature.

Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
