Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 590 plants (based on flask surveys done 11/06/2007 through 09/03/2008)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 60 - 100 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 01/02/2008 through 02/03/2009)
From one most recently surveyed flask 100 mm (02/03/2009)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Peru. Plants grow on the lower eastern slopes of the Andes and were originally found in the Department of Loreto in northeast Peru, but specific information about habitat location, type, and elevation was not reported. Later collections were made near Moyobamba in the Department of San Martin and near Chachapoyas in the Department of Amazonas. Plants grow where humidity is high and have been found with Coryanthes macrocorys Rolfe, Coryanthes bicalcaratra Schlechter, Coryanthes seegeri Gerlach in valleys with elevations around 3300 ft. (1000 m).
