The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Western Borneo. Plants are found in Sarawak and western
Kalimantan on north facing slopes of weathered sandstone or limestone
hills at 1000-2600 ft. (300-800 m). They grow below the summits of hills
and cliffs under an open canopy of trees. Plants grow either in deep leaf
litter at the base of trees in continuously moist and humid places or in
mosses in rock crevices where there is constant water seepage.
