ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widely distributed throughout Southeast Asia and Pacific
islands. In Taiwan, it is found in semishade in broadleaf forests below
3000 ft. (914 m). In Vietnam, it is found near Dalat at 4920 ft. (1500 m).
