Yield Estimate: 240 plants (based on flask surveys done 05/01/2007 through 09/25/2007)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Colombia. This epiphytic orchid was discovered originally in the Cauca region of Colombia, but no additional details were given. Plants have subsequently been reported by Dodson & Bennett (1989) as occurring in Peru. These plants were said to be common in tropical wet forest where they were growing on old citrus trees at about 4900 ft. (1500 m) in the department of Pasco, and at about 3950 ft. (1200 m) near Chanchamayo in the department of Junín.
